Abstract

The electric power conversion device comprises a diode serial circuit; a capacitor serial circuit connectedin parallel with the diode serial circuit; a switching module having three switching leads, formed by a single module and connected in parallel with the diode serial circuit; an alternating voltage detector configured to detect a voltage of a single-phase alternating current power source connected with a common connection point of a first lead and a common connection point of the diode serial circuit; a current detector configured to detect the current of each switching lead; a direct current voltage detector configured to detect the terminal voltage of the diode serial circuit, namely a direct voltage; and a control portion configured to perform PWM control for each lead based on the current, the alternating voltage and the direct voltage, wherein the control portion takes the first leadas power factor control to perform switching control of the leads, the common connection points of the second lead and the third lead and the common connection point of the capacitor serial circuit are connected with a three-phase load, and the second and third leads are taken as the load control to perform switch control of the leads.
