Abstract

The methanol engine is characterized in that an injector assembly comprising mutually independent gasoline injection components and methanol injection components are arranged on an engine intake manifold; a methanol injector and a gasoline cold start injector, which can directly spray methanol and gasoline into the manifold, are separately installed at a corresponding manifold of each cylinder in the methanol engine. Due to the fact that the gasoline cold start injector is provided at the manifold of each cylinder to directly injecting the gasoline into the manifold of the intake manifold to mix with the air instead of directly injecting gasoline into an air intake pressure stabilization chamber of the intake manifold to be mixed with the air and then distributed to the manifold, the methanol engine has the advantages of effectively controlling the amount of gasoline injection,avoiding the problem of engine cold start failure caused by insufficient oil supply during cold start of the methanol engine, and also avoiding the problem of excessive emission of the methanol enginedue to excessive oil injection during cold start.
