Abstract

The granular urea containing the alginic acid synergistic carrier can significantly increase the urease activity of the granular urea by 23.9% in soil in a fertilization range of 1cm. The urea nitrogen contentin the fertilization range of 1cm is 14.1% lower than that of the commercially available urea so that the decomposition and conversion rate of alginic acid urea is significantly accelerated. Comparedwith commercially available urea, the granular urea containing the alginic acid synergistic carrier can averagely increase the wheat yield by 9% or more and the nitrogen fertilizer utilization rate by 8%.
