Abstract

The present invention provides a simplified mass spectrometer comprising a first printed circuit board, a second printed circuit board and a grid electrode plate, wherein the grid electrode plate is disposed between the first printed circuit board and the second printed circuit board; parallel conductive strips are oppositely disposed on the first printed circuit board and the second printed circuit board; grid electrode plate is provided with grid electrodes; the oppositely disposed parallel conductive strips and the grid electrodes jointly form parallel ion traps. The simplified mass spectrometry also includes a housing communicating with a vacuum pump. In the housing, the parallel ion traps are placed in a vacuum chamber by the vacuum pump. The simplified mass spectrometer is simple instructure and forms a plurality of parallel linear ion traps. After captured, ions are uniformly detected after mass selection, thereby greatly enhancing signals and avoiding using an electron multiplier. With the above structure, parts of electronic circuits are directly mounted on the printed circuit board as a housing, which simplifies the structure of the mass spectrometer and contributes to prevention of electronic interference.
