The method comprises the following steps: constructing a current prediction model of the twelve-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor; acquiring the first d-q axis current value of each winding of the first to fourth three-phase windings at the moment k; constructing a switching state matrix of each converter in the first to fourth converters to obtain the d-q axis voltage values under each switching state combination; obtaining a second d-q axis current valueof each winding at the moment k+1 according to the current prediction model, the first d-q axis current value of each winding and the second d-q axis current value of each winding at the moment k+1; constructing an objective function of each winding, and combining a second d-q axis current value of each winding and a preset current value to obtain driving signals of all bridge arms of the first tofourth converters.
