Problems solved by technology

During the manufacturing process, there will be some manufacturing defects in the cable, such as doping with metal impurities or voids in the outer insulator. It is very likely to be broken down, resulting in a flashover discharge phenomenon in the transmission line, and thus causing damage to the back-end nodes
In addition, on the seabed, there may be continuous friction between the cable and the rock due to the action of the ship's anchor, fishing gear or ocean currents, which will also cause damage to the cable insulation layer, resulting in a flashover of the cable core in direct contact with seawater discharge phenomenon

Abstract

The invention discloses a simulation experiment device for submarine observation network submarine cable flashover discharge. The simulation experiment device comprises a constant-voltage power supply, submarine cable equivalent experimental models, a connecting box node electric energy convertor and a sea water short circuit device, wherein each submarine cable equivalent experimental model is used for simulating the transmission characteristics of a real submarine cable, and comprises a plurality of cable simulation circuits; each cable simulation circuit comprises a resistor-capacitor-inductor model consisting of a resistor, a capacitor and an inductor; the connecting box node electric energy convertor is used for converting high voltage on the submarine cable equivalent experimental models into low voltage to be output; the sea water short circuit device comprises a section of damaged real submarine cable, sea water and a water tank; an electrode, a grounding switch tube and a damaged real submarine cable are connected between the two sections of submarine cable equivalent experimental models, and are put in the water tank containing the sea water; and a submarine cable flashover discharge phenomenon of a practical work condition is simulated by controlling the on-off state of the grounding switch tube. The invention also discloses a simulation experiment system and methodfor reducing the harm degree of the submarine observation network submarine cable flashover discharge. The flashover discharge harm can be reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of marine detection, and in particular relates to a simulation experiment device, simulation experiment system and method of submarine cable flashover discharge. Background technique [0002] The rapid development of the ocean industry has led to the upsurge of research on seabed observation networks. Since the 1970s, countries around the world have gradually started research on seabed observation networks. Beginning in the 1990s, various countries began to establish submarine observation network systems one after another. The more representative ones are: ACO, H2O, NEPTUNE, MARS, ESONET and DONET. Among them, the NETPUNE submarine observation network has two shore-based power sources and six nodes, and forms a ring network with a total length of 800 kilometers of transmission cables. [0003] Domestic research on seabed observation networks started relatively late. In 2009, Tongji University established a seabed obs...
