Embodiment 1

[0033] Accurately weigh 10g of urea, add 30g of water, then add 5g of cornstarch, stir for about 1h, filter and then freeze-dry at -40°C for 48h; take out the dry matter and pulverize it, put it in a flask and heat it to 65°C in an oil bath and keep it warm 48h. The product was cooled to room temperature, washed three times with water, and then dried in vacuum to obtain the urea-modified starch, which was observed under a scanning electron microscope as follows: figure 1 Shown, and the elemental analyzer test nitrogen content is 0.07%.

Embodiment 2

[0035] Accurately weigh 10g of urea, add 30g of water, then add 5g of cornstarch, stir for about 1h, filter and then freeze-dry at -40°C for 48h; take out the dry matter and pulverize it, put it in a flask for microwave irradiation heating, and the microwave power is 240W, microwave irradiation heating time is 1min; the product is cooled to room temperature, washed three times with water, and after vacuum drying, the urea-modified starch is obtained, and observed under a scanning electron microscope as follows: figure 2 Shown, and the nitrogen content is 1.26% as tested by elemental analyzer.

Embodiment 3

[0037] Accurately weigh 15g of urea, add 30g of water, then add 5g of potato starch, stir for about 1h, filter and then freeze-dry at -40°C for 48h; take out the dry matter and pulverize it, put it in a flask for microwave irradiation heating, and the microwave power is 780W, microwave irradiation heating time is 3min; the product is cooled to room temperature, washed three times with water, and after vacuum drying, the urea-modified starch is obtained, and observed under a scanning electron microscope as follows: image 3 Shown, and the nitrogen content is 6.31% as tested by the elemental analyzer.

Abstract

The invention discloses a preparation method and application of urea modified starch. The method comprises the following steps: (1) uniformly mixing and stirring urea, water and starch, filtering, andcarrying out freeze drying; (2) crushing the material obtained in the step (1), carrying out a heat preservation reaction for 1-50 h at a temperature of 50-150 DEG C, or carrying out microwave irradiation heating for 10 s to 60 min at a power of 50-1200 W, and cooling to room temperature; and (3) fully washing the material obtained in the step (2) with water, and carrying out vacuum drying to obtain the urea modified starch with the nitrogen content of 0.01-15 wt%. According to the method, the starch is modified by the urea under the solvent-free and catalyst-free conditions, the process is simple and convenient, green and environment-friendly, the energy consumption is low, complex steps of common starch modification are omitted, and the problems of long consumed time, harsh conditions, high cost, complex post-treatment and more byproducts of the existing method are also solved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of starch modification, and in particular relates to a preparation method and application of urea modified starch. Background technique [0002] Starch exists in the seeds, stems or roots of many plants. It is rich in sources, low in price, safe and non-toxic. It is a renewable, biodegradable, and biocompatible natural polymer that is needed by humans and other organisms. An important source of carbon and energy. The basic unit of starch is glucose, which is a polymer formed by dehydrating glucose and linking together through glycosidic bonds. Starch has advantages. Starch contains a large number of hydroxyl groups. It can be modified by derivatization to obtain functional materials, or it can also be hydrolyzed to obtain products such as alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, acids, esters, ethers, etc., so it is also an important chemical raw material. Therefore, the research and high-value development and utiliz...
