The building construction method comprises the following steps: S01, brushing premixed mortar on the top surface and the bottom surface of a building block when the building block is laid according to design requirements to form a building block mortar layer; S02, building the building blocks coated with the premixed mortar one by one according to design requirements; S03, after building is completed, carrying out wet maintenance; wherein the thickness of the building block mortar layer in the step S01 is 3-5 mm.
