The welding method comprises the following steps that a groove is machined, and two to-be-welded copper-nickel alloy plates are machined into the groove; the plates are ground, and the surfaces of the copper-nickel alloy plates on the two sides of the groove are ground till the metal luster is exposed; the two copper-nickel alloy plates are erected by a certain included angle; welding equipment is selected and is a direct current argon arc welding electric welding machine, the diameter of a nozzle of a welding gun is phi 14 mm,and the distance between the nozzle and the copper-nickel alloy plates ranges from 10 mm to 15 mm; a tungsten rod serves as the electrode of the direct current argon arc welding electric welding machine, argon serves as protective gas, the purity is 99.7%, and the flow ranges from 14 L / min to 15 L / min; multi-layer welding is carried out, wherein multi-layer welding is carried out according to thethickness of the copper-nickel alloy plates; and evaluation testing is carried out, wherein evaluation testing is carried out on the multiple welded copper-nickel alloy plates.
