Abstract

The invention discloses a process for preparing a ceramic rear cover by grouting. The preparation process comprises the following steps of: preparing raw materials, namely zirconium oxide powder, organic alkali tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide and deionized water; putting the raw materials into a ball mill for ball milling; after ball milling, adding ammonium persulfate into a mixture for defoamingtreatment so as to obtain ceramic slurry; injecting the ceramic slurry into a cavity of a microporous mold from an injection port of the microporous mold; conducting vacuumizing, discharging water inthe cavity , and conducting demolding when the thickness of a ceramic rear cover green body in the micropore mold achieves a preset thickness; and sintering the green body in a sintering furnace. According to the process of the invention, the zirconium oxide powder is used as a raw material of the ceramic mobile phone rear cover, so that the yield, drop resistance and wear resistance of the ceramic mobile phone rear cover are improved; and the green body is placed in the sintering furnace to be sintered for 1-3 h at the temperature of 1800-2200 DEG C, pores in the formed body are reduced, combination between particles is enhanced, mechanical strength is improved, and therefore the formed ceramic sintered part with the hardness comparable to that of sapphire is obtained.
