The formula of the modified EPR rubber foam material comprises 25-35 parts of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer; 6-10 parts of ethylene propylene diene monomer; 6-10 parts of natural rubber; 10-15 parts of an ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer; 1-3 parts of an accelerant; 1-3 parts of an anti-wear agent; 6-10parts of talcum powder; 1-3 parts of titanium dioxide; 0.5-1 part of stearic acid; 0.5-1 part of zinc oxide; 0.3-0.8 part of a bridging agent; and 0.5-1 part of a foaming agent. A finished product isobtained through the steps of banburying, material slicing, granulating, packaging and the like. The improved foaming material has four characteristics, namely, ultralight weight, cold resistance, slip resistance and wear resistance, has five functions, namely rebounding, shock absorption, supporting, various textures and applicability to hand sewing, and can better adapt to the requirements of the market and consumers for high-tech and high-physical-property functional soles.
