Abstract

The invention discloses a light-operated microwave phased array radar system based on a pluggable transmit-receive assembly and a feedback control method. According to the technical scheme adopted bythe invention, photonic integrated chips with different functions are realized by using a plurality of material platforms; the plurality of chips are interconnected through an inter-optical-chip coupling technology to realize an all-optical integrated transmit-receive assembly, and meanwhile, a control electric chip and the optical chip assembly are packaged in the same tube shell by using a flipchip or wirebonding technology, and finally, the pluggable transmit-receive assembly and the light-operated phased array radar system formed by the pluggable transmit-receive assembly are obtained. Themicrowave phased array radar assembly provided by the invention is constructed based on the optical chips, has strong anti-electromagnetic interference capability, and improves the signal transmission capacity; delayers based on the optical chips have the same delay for microwave signals modulated on optical carriers at different frequencies, so that the problem of beam deflection is solved; gains of all the assemblies can be independently controlled, Gaussian distribution of array element gains can be achieved, and therefore, beam scanning with the high sidelobe rejection ratio is achieved.
