Abstract

The hydrogel is prepared from hexanoylated ethylene glycol chitosan and 3, 4-dihydroxyphenyl propionic acid through an amidation reaction, and the molar ratio of the reactant 3, 4-dihydroxyphenyl propionic acid to amino on the hexanoylated ethylene glycol chitosan is 0.1:1-0.5:1. The method is mild in reaction condition, simple and safe to operate and easier to accept by researchers. The modified hexanoylated ethylene glycol chitosan hydrogel prepared by amidation reaction has self-healing property and temperature sensitivity. By controlling factors such as reaction time, molar ratio and solution concentration, sol-gel conversion temperature, self-healing time and efficiency of the hydrogel can be changed, and in addition, the hydrogel has low cytotoxicity and good biodegradability and has potential application value in the aspect of injectable drug sustained-release carriers.
