Embodiment Construction

[0022] With reference to some embodiments of the present invention, the contents of the present invention are explained and described in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0023] figure 1 A wireless communication system 100 and a High Efficiency packet protocol data unit (HE PPDU) supporting Dual Sub-Carrier Modulation (DCM) with binary convolutional code (BCC) are illustrated in accordance with novel aspects ) frame structure. The wireless communication network 100 includes a wireless access point (access point, AP) 101 and a wireless station STA 102 . In a wireless communication system, wireless devices communicate with each other through various well-defined frame structures. A frame includes a physical layer convergence protocol (physical layer convergence protocol, PLCP), a protocol data unit (Protocol Data Unit, PPDU), a frame header and valid data. Frames are divided into very specific and standardized sections. figure 1, HE PPDU frame 110 is transmitted ...

Abstract

A data encoding and interleaving method and a wireless station are provided. For HE PPDU transmission with DCM, information bits are first encoded by a BCC encoder. The BCC encoded bit streams are then interleaved by a BCC interleaver. More specifically, the BCC interleaved bits are repeated on two halves of a given resource unit (RU). The BCC interleaver parameters are defined based on half of the total number of the data tones of the RU if DCM is applied. The BCC interleaved bits are then modulated and mapped to two halves of the RU by a DCM constellation mapper. The reliability of transmission under DCM can be enhanced.

Description

technical field [0001] The embodiments disclosed in this application relate to the technical field of wireless network communication, and more specifically, to methods for encoding and interleaving data and wireless stations. Background technique [0002] IEEE 802.11 is a set of media access control (MAC) and physical layer (PHY) specifications for wireless local area network (WLAN) communications over the Wi-Fi (2.4GHz, 3.6GHz, 5GHz, and 60GHz) frequency bands . The 802.11 protocol family consists of a series of half-duplex wireless modulation techniques using the same basic protocol. These standards and associated amendments provide the basis for the use of Wi-Fi frequency bands by wireless networking products. For example, IEEE 802.11ac is a wireless network standard in the IEEE 802.11 protocol family, which provides a high-throughput WLAN on the 5GHz frequency band. Significantly wider channel bandwidths (20MHz, 40MHz, 80MHz and 160MHz) are proposed in the IEEE802.11a...
