Problems solved by technology

In the treatment of burn (scald) patients in modern burn medicine, the local topical antibacterial drugs are mainly silver sulfadiazine, etc., but it has the disadvantage of aggravating wound damage, and the prognosis is still not optimistic
In addition, a number of studies have found that traditional Chinese medicine and compound preparations have many targets and various mechanisms of action, which can make up for many deficiencies of chemical drugs, but the research on the safety and effectiveness of most Chinese medicinal materials is not deep enough

Embodiment 1

[0029] Scutellarin is used in the experiment of treating burns (scalds).

[0030] 1. Duplication of II° burn model, drug administration, material collection and measurement of wound area

[0031] Experimental animals and groups

[0032] Select 12 healthy adult miniature pigs of southern Yunnan breed, male or female, numbered 1, 2, 3...12, aged 4 to 5 months, weighing 15 to 20 kg, purchased from the Experimental Animal Center of Kunming Medical University (standard experiment Animal use license number: SYXK (Dian) 2016-0004). Experimental feeding conditions are: room temperature 25° C., humidity 45% environment, 12 hours of light per day, standard experimental animal pig feed, fasting for 12 hours before operation. The two sides of each pig's spine are symmetrically divided left and right, and 4 experimental areas (A, B, C, D,) are defined. Each experimental area contains two wounds (such as A1, A2...). The 4 experimental areas were randomly divided into: blank control group...

Abstract

The invention relates to application of scutellarin in preparation of a medicine for treating burns and scalds, and belongs to the technical field of biological medicines. The invention discloses scutellarin (5g / kg) which reduces wound inflammatory response by inhibiting generation and release of inflammatory mediators so as to reduce growth of bacteria on a burn (scald) wound. Meanwhile, the protein and gene expression levels of VEGF-A and TGF-beta1 are up-regulated, so that the expression peak is advanced, the decrustation and hair growing time of miniature pigs is shortened, and the healing rate of wound surfaces is improved. Scutellarin (5g / kg) has an obvious treatment effect on burns (scalds), even has a curative effect better than that of a clinical first-line medicine 1% sulfadiazine silver (10g / kg), and can be used for preparing medicines for preventing and / or treating burns (scalds).

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of biomedicine, and in particular relates to the use of scutellarin in the preparation of medicines for treating burns and scalds. Background technique [0002] Burn (scald) injury is a kind of acute skin injury, clinically, patients with small and medium-sized area, II° burn are in the majority. In the treatment of burn (scald) patients in modern burn medicine, the local topical antibacterial drugs are mainly silver sulfadiazine, etc., but it has the disadvantage of aggravating wound damage, and the prognosis is still not optimistic. In addition, a number of studies have found that traditional Chinese medicines and compound preparations have many targets and various mechanisms of action, which can make up for many shortcomings of chemical drugs, but the research on the safety and effectiveness of most Chinese medicinal materials is not deep enough. With the in-depth research on the basic pathology of burns...
