Abstract

Usnic acid plays a role in resisting PEDV (porcine epidemic diarrhea virus) in a dose-dependent manner, and has an obvious inhibition effect on different strains of PEDV, and the antiviral effect of usnic acid mainly plays a role in a virus replication stage. Research finds that PEDV infection can promote cell autophagy, autophagy has a promoting effect on virus replication, usnic acid can inhibit Vero cell autophagy, and through the effects of an autophagy accelerant 3-MA and an inhibitor rapamycin, usnic acid can play a role in resisting PEDV by inhibiting the autophagy process of cells.
