Abstract
The invention discloses a micro-alloyed steel wheel with high contact fatigue resistance and a production method thereof. The wheel comprises the following chemical components in percentage by weight: 0.38-0.45% of C, 0.15-0.25% of Ni, 0.50-1.2% of Mn, 0.80-1.20% of Cr, 0.15-0.40% of Si, less than or equal to 0.040% of P, less than or equal to 0.040% of S and the balance being Fe and inevitable residual elements, wherein Mn + Cr is more than or equal to 1.5% and less than or equal to 2.0%. The wheel is produced by adopting the processes of electric furnace steelmaking, LF furnace refining, RH vacuum treatment, round billet continuous casting, ingot cutting and rolling, wheel billet forging, heat treatment, wheel machining, tread induction quenching, detection and packaging, and the produced wheel has excellent comprehensive mechanical properties, good matching of strength, hardness and toughness, and good wear resistance and contact fatigue resistance.
