Problems solved by technology

DDw / oR is one of the important clinical causes of TMJOA. Although some researchers have tried to establish a model of anterior disc displacement, the degree of lesion in the model is not the same as that of clinical practice because of the limited degree of anterior disc displacement. However, there are still some differences, especially in the study of the mechanism of condylar bone resorption in the early stage after articular disc displacement, there are still some limitations

Embodiment 1

[0036] Example 1: Evaluation of the effect of temporomandibular joint disc displacement on condylar cartilage and subchondral bone

[0037] 1. Construction of an animal model of condylar bone resorption in temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis

[0038] Rats were anesthetized by intraperitoneal injection of 1% sodium isopentobarbital (60 mg / kg). A 1.0cm arc-shaped incision was made along the zygomatic arch at 0.5 cm lateral to the lateral canthus of the right eye of the rat. The skin and subcutaneous tissue were incised and entered from the depression between the temporalis muscle, masseter muscle and external auditory canal to expose the zygomatic arch. ; Blunt dissection of the surrounding muscle tissue, exposing the condylar neck to the surgical area. The joint capsule was cut to expose the condyle and articular disc. The tissue attached to the neck of the condyle was cut anteriorly (mandibular anterior attachment), laterally, and posteriorly (mandibular posterior attachm...

[0042] 1. Construction of an animal model of condylar bone resorption in temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis

[0043] Rats were anesthetized by intraperitoneal injection of 1% sodium isopentobarbital (60 mg / kg). The articular capsule is incised to expose the condyle and articular disc. The tissue attached to the neck of the condyle was cut anteriorly (mandibular anterior attachment), laterally, and posteriorly (mandibular posterior attachment) with microscissors. P...

[0048] Example 3: Exploring the mechanism of articular disc displacement leading to osteoarthritis of the temporomandibular joint

[0049] 1. Construction of an animal model of condylar bone resorption in temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis

[0050] Rats were anesthetized by intraperitoneal injection of 1% sodium isopentobarbital (60 mg / kg). Abstract

A construction method of a condylar bone resorption animal model for temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis comprises the following steps: completely moving an articular disc forward to the front of a condylar process, then fixing, simulating the most common clinical temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis accompanied with the displacement of the articular disc, observing the pathological change of the condylar bone resorption at the early stage after the displacement of the articular disc, and establishing a condylar bone resorption animal model. The occurrence time, histological performance and molecular mechanism of the early TMJOA are focused on, and a new thought is provided for early prevention and treatment of the TMJOA.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of biotechnology and relates to a method for constructing an animal model, in particular to a method for constructing an animal model of temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis condyle bone resorption and its application. Background technique [0002] Tempoo Mandibular Joint Osteo Arthritis (TMJOA) is an important subtype of temporomandibular joint disorder (Temporo Mandibular Disorders, TMD), with a prevalence of about 8% to 35% in the general population. While the prevalence in the TMD population is about 17.97% to 77.23%. TMJOA is characterized by degenerative changes involving the entire joint. Its early manifestations are subchondral bone (cortical bone) resorption and destruction, cartilage degeneration, and finally lead to large-scale bone destruction or hyperplasia and sclerosis, joint shape changes and deformities. The clinical manifestations of TMJOA include oral and maxillofacial pain, joint murmurs, and li...
