The invention discloses a technique for accelerating the
germination of flower seeds, and the technique comprises water soaking treatment and low-
temperature treatment. The technique is characterized in that a method for the water soaking treatment and the low-
temperature treatment comprises the following steps of: in the water soaking treatment, for cercis,
snow willow and weigela, soaking the seeds for 1-2 days by using
warm water at 40-60 DEG C, and then,
sowing the seeds directly; for
torch tree seeds, initially soaking the seeds by using water at 90 DEG C, and naturally cooling the seeds for 24 hours, so that seed coats with colloids and waxes are softened, absorb the water and then germinate, wherein in a soaking process, the water is necessarily changed frequently, and the time is not suitable to exceed 0.5-1 hour when the temperature of the water is higher than 60-90 DEG C; and in the low-
temperature treatment, for roxburgh rose, calyx
canthus, fructus forsythiae, clove and fall-sowed
herb flowers, carrying out the low-temperature treatment at 0-10 DEG C necessarily on the seeds, mixing the seeds on which the low-temperature treatment is carried out with sand with the
humidity of 60%, then loading the mixed seeds and sand in a
plastic bag, fastening the mouth of the bag, putting the bag in a
flowerpot, implanting the bag in an
open field at a depth of 40-60 centimeters together with the
flowerpot, or putting the seeds in a refrigerator at 3-5 DEG C for 60-90 days, and taking the seeds out to sow the seeds in a seed
sowing process. The technique for accelerating the
germination has a simple process and a high
germination rate, is suitable for a plurality of flower seeds, and is economical and practical.
