Abstract

The invention offers a method for making white microcrystalline wax of high quality through hydrogenation. The invention takes poor microcrystalline wax as raw material, adopts single high pressure hydrogenation method, and the oil-hydrogen mixture from the reactor is treated by separation, deodor to get the white microcrystalline wax products under the condition of 10MPaí½18MP and 270í½ 340íµ and through the catalytic bed with proper bore construction. In the said invention, hydrogenation desulfuration, denitrification and aromatics saturation proceed in one reactor, and it could be used to produce white microcrystalline wax products for food and cosmetics. The invention is characterized on short process flow, simple operation, etc, therefore, we can use the present ceresin wax hydrogenation devices to produce refining microcrystalline wax.
