Abstract

The invention relates to an electric device comprising at least one organic diode, wherein said electric device comprises driving means for driving said organic diode in at least a light sensing state and pre-pulse means for applying one or more electrical pulses to said organic diode prior to driving said organic diode in said light sensing state. A positive electric pre-pulse has been observed to improve the light sensitivity of the organic diode, whereas a negative pre-pulse was found to decrease the time that the organic diode is in the light sensing state for accurately measuring or sensing incident light.
