Abstract

The rut resisting admixture for high-grade asphalt highway consists of low density polyethylene of 20-50 kD 50-85 weight portions, high density polyethylene of 10-30 kD 10-45 weight portions, petroleum asphalt in 10-50 needle penetration 5-10 weight portions and diatomite 5-20 weight portions. Experiment shows that the rut resisting admixture of the present invention has low material consumption, low production cost, good waterproof performance, high wear resistance and other advantages, and may be used a the rut resisting material for asphalt road.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of materials, and collectively relates to an anti-rutting admixture for asphalt pavement. Background technique [0002] Rutting is a kind of groove-like pavement damage phenomenon formed on the asphalt pavement along the driving direction of the vehicle due to the frequent and repeated action of the vehicle load, which causes a large permanent deformation of the carriageway at the driving track. The ruts were formed due to overloading of vehicles, excessive traffic volume, and underestimation of the high temperature in summer in the area where the project was located during pavement design. In addition, due to the excessive amount of oil in the design of the asphalt mixture, insufficient compaction of the road surface or base during construction, low compaction of the soil foundation or weak interlayers in the soil foundation, etc. Rutting generally occurs in seasons with high temperature, and the asphalt s...
