The embodiment of the application discloses a method for constructing a human respiratory syncytial
virus newborn mouse infection model and application thereof.The method comprises the following steps: inoculating a
virus liquid containing a human respiratory syncytial
virus (RSV) into a 3-day-old SPF healthy BALB / c newborn mouse through
nasal drops, and obtaining the human respiratory syncytial virus newborn mouse infection model after 4-5 days.The application successfully establishes a newborn mouse infection model which is simple to operate, good in
repeatability and closer to clinical
pathological characteristics.The model has the advantages of high virus
infection rate, high similarity of
pathological characteristics to human newborn infection, simple model construction method,
short cycle, low cost, good stability and strong
repeatability, and has a wide application prospect in RSV related research and development.
