The invention relates to a liquid activated
zinc manganese paper battery and a preparation method of the battery; the liquid activated
zinc manganese paper battery is formed by sequentially laminating a
zinc cathode, a piece of
fiber paper absorbed with
electrolyte, a piece of coated layer paper coated with MnO2 active
slurry, and a carbon collector; the preparation method comprises the steps of: preparing the
electrolyte according to the
mass ratio of ZnCl2 to NH4Cl to CaCl2 of (5-30): (5-50): (3-10); soaking the
fiber paper into the
electrolyte, and
drying at 40-50 DEG C for later use; firstly mixing MnO2, a conductive agent and an additive according to the
mass ratio of (80-90): (10-20): (0.1-1.0), then carrying out ball-milling to obtain MnO2 mixed
powder; adding deionized water into the MnO2 mixed
powder to prepare the MnO2 active
slurry, then blade
coating the MnO2 active
slurry onto the surface of the coated layer paper, and
drying at 40-50 DEG C for later use; sequentially overlying the
fiber paper absorbed with the electrolyte, the coated layer paper coated with the MnO2 active slurry and the carbon collector on the surface of the zinc foil
cathode, and leading out a positive pole lead and a negative pole lead; and finally, carrying out vacuum encapsulation by a
plastic film. The battery disclosed by the invention is excellent in storage performance and can be stored for a long time without becoming invalid; and the
voltage of the single battery reaches 1.5-1.6V.
