The invention discloses an ultrathin Bi4O5Br2 / Bi2O2CO3 visible-light-induced photocatalyst, a preparation method and application thereof. The ultrathin Bi4O5Br2 / Bi2O2CO3 visible-light-induced photocatalyst is prepared by a simple room-temperature co-crystallization method. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) adding ammonia water into water, and stirring to obtain a solution A; (2) adding a certain amount of potassium bromide or sodium bromide into the solution A, and stirring for a period of time to obtain a solution B; (3) dissolving a bismuth salt into a dilute acetic acid solution, dropwise adding into the solution B, and stirring overnight to obtain a turbid liquid C; and (4) centrifuging, washing and drying the turbid liquid C to obtain the visible-light-inducedphotocatalyst.
