The method comprises the steps as follows: the pH value of industrial gypsum which is less than 4 is adjusted to be equal to or greater than 4, and the gypsum is crushed into granules with the diameter of less than 10mm; cementing materials occupying the 10 to 40 percent of the total mixed weight are added and the mixture is stirred evenly, then after a mechanical process, the mixture is pressed into adobes, and after drying the adobes become the novel baking-free bricks. The baking-free bricks manufactured through the invention has high compressive strength reaching 7.5 to 13.0 MPa; the strength of the early adobes is high and then the adobes can be directly conveyed and stacked; the adobe is difficult to be broken and the finished-product rate is high; the unit weight of the obtained baking-free brick is light and is more suitable for the construction of high buildings; the manufacturing process is simple and the drying time for the adobes is short and the required stacking area is small; the manufacturing period is short and the manufactured baking-free brick has low cost.
