The invention, in no need of any solvent, can be implemented at normal temperature with CO2 being non-toxic and residual-free, and the invention is low in energy consumption, stable in gas source, recyclable, simple in extraction technology and high in extraction efficiency; the yield of the volatile oil thereof can run up to over 1.8%. The invention overcomes the disadvantages that the traditional steam distillation method used for extracting the volatile oil from the Ziziphora Clinopodioides Lam wastes a lot of time and energy and residual moisture is present in the product.
