Rutin standard working solutionswith different amounts are selected to prepare gradient series standard solutions; borax is used as the base solution; respectively measuring the peak current of the standard series solutions; a standard curve is drawn by taking the concentration of the rutin solution as a horizontal coordinate and the peak current as a vertical coordinate. A certain amount of solution which is subject to subsequent measurement and made from a mangrove bruguiera sample is selected. Under the condition of a polarogram similar to a rutin comparison product, polarographic wave of the solution to be measured is scanned, and a peak current value of the polarographic wave is measured. The concentration of the general flavone in the solution to be measured, which corresponds to the peak current value, can be found out by using the standard curve so that the general flavone content in the sample can be worked out. The method has the advantages of simple operation, stable system, wide linear scope and the like.
