The whole length of the gene is 1343bp, and comprises a 774bp opening reading frame; a coding product is drought induced ERF transcription factor composed of 286 amino acid residues, has an EREB/DNA binding region, can be combined with some drought reaction elements of a promoter region of a drought-related downstream gene, so as to regulate and control the transcription of a drought-enduring and cold-resistant correlative gene, and is a key element of a plant drought-enduring mechanism; the similarity of the amino acid sequence of the gene and an arabidopsis ERF gene is 47%; if the plant of the gene is constructed to express a carrier, and the drought enduring gene is introduced into all plants, thus the drought-enduring and cold-resistant performance can be improved.
