Problems solved by technology

For poplar planting on saline-alkali land, the survival rate is not high and the growth is relatively slow. The existing measures are mainly to use fresh water, while fresh water resources are relatively scarce, but salt water resources are very rich, but the utilization rate of salt water is low, and it is basically abandoned The present invention provides a method to make full use of local salt water resources and improve the utilization rate of salt water, so as to improve the saline-alkali land and provide the water needed by poplar trees, and save a large amount of fresh water resources

Embodiment

[0037] Example: Sujiayuan, Dagang, Binhai New Area, Tianjin

[0038] Basic situation: The implementation time began in December 2009, with an area of 13,000m 2 , the soil salinity content is 0.8%, the pH value is 8.45, and the salt content of irrigation water is 10g / L. The poplar species is Zhongtian Yang.

[0039] Implementation process:

[0040] 1. Salt water freezing irrigation

[0041] In winter, the natural cold resources are used to freeze the salt water, and the salt and fresh water are separated during the freezing process, and then the salt water flows out first when the ice melts, and the fresh water flows out later, so as to wash the soil. The specific operation is as follows,

[0042] (1) Build a saltwater pool. Coastal saline-alkali areas are rich in saline water resources and have high groundwater levels, which are relatively easy to develop and utilize. Dig a salt water pool with a depth of 3m, a width of 5m and a length of 50m near the planting area to ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for planting poplar trees on coast saline-alkali soil by utilizing saline water. The method comprises the following steps of: first, constructing a saline water pond or a saline water ditch for providing a saline water source; then, building plots in a planting area so as to irrigate; when the highest air temperature is below zero in winter, irrigating the saline water for freezing rapidly; coating a film for inhibiting water evaporation and soil salt return in spring; culturing seedlings by adopting nutrition bowls and transplanting at proper time; and coating by using straw after a rainy season. The method has the advantages that: the salt content of the soil can be remarkably reduced when an ice layer melts in spring and the water content of the soil is improved to provide a suitable growing environment for the polar tree by adopting a method for freezing and irrigating the salt water in the winter; the utilization rate of the salt water in the saline-alkali soil is improved; over 120 cubic meters of fresh water can be saved per mu; the water evaporation of the soil and the accumulation of salt on the surface are inhibited by coating the film in the spring and the water condensed on the film is returned back to the soil, so that an effect of eluting the soil salt is achieved; and survival rate of the poplar trees can be improved remarkably by a transplanting method by using the nutrition bowl, wherein the survival rate can reach over 90 percent.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of coastal saline-alkali land vegetation construction. It particularly relates to a method for planting poplar trees on coastal saline-alkali land by using salt water. Background technique [0002] my country is a country with a shortage of water resources, coupled with the extremely unbalanced distribution of water and land resources in our country, resulting in severe drought and water shortage in most areas. Soil salinization and shortage of fresh water resources are important factors restricting agricultural development in arid and semi-arid regions, and saline-alkali soil is an important reserve cultivated land resource in my country, and its rational development is of great significance to ensure the safety of cultivated land in my country. The current saline-alkali land treatment methods mainly include hydraulic engineering measures combining wells, ditches, and canals; surface covering; application of chemica...
