Abstract

The invention discloses a method for improving the cold resistance of late-sowed wheat. The method is particularly suitable for planting wheat which cannot be sowed on time because of wet-stained soil or low soil moisture content. The method comprises the following steps of: mixing seeds with hydrogen peroxide; flushing and spraying the seeds with clean water; flushing and spraying the seeds with solutions of gibberellin, ethephon and monopotassium phosphate for multiple times; after flushing and spraying, placing the seeds at a warm place to convert internal nutrition and hormone of the wheat seeds; when one or more seeds root, spreading and airing the seeds; and before sowing the seeds, mixing the seeds with a rare earth tiny fertilizer to promote the growth and improve the cold resistance at a wheat seedling stage. The wheat seeds treated by the method have the advantages that: the germination speed is high; the root system is developed; the tillering ability is enhanced; the cold resistance of wheat can be obviously improved; the late-sowed wheat can safety live through the winter; and the yield of the wheat can be obviously improved.
