Abstract

The invention relates to an ion chromatography circulating column switching system, especially relates to an ion chromatography analysis system for on-line cycling separation and detection of high-concentration base ions having near chromatographic retention characters and trace irons requiring detection. The invention discloses an ion chromatography circulating column switching analysis system. The system is characterized by: converting an elutriant into water and removing eluting power of the elutriant after flowing through a suppressor; carrying out on-line cycling elimination for the high-concentration base ions and carrying out cycling analysis for the irons requiring detection through switching valves. The switching analysis system provided by the present invention comprises: a pump, a six-way valve, a ten-way valve, a protection column, a analysis column, a enrichment column, the suppressor, a conductivity detector, a sample loop, a sample injector and a waste liquid bottle. The switching analysis system provided by the present invention can be applicable for elimination of the high-concentration base ions during the ion chromatography separation and detection process for a series of irons having the near chromatographic retention characters, and has very high practical value.
