Embodiment 1

[0025] Example 1 Site remediation of a PAH-contaminated soil in Suzhou Industrial Park

[0026] This technology was applied to the site remediation of a PAH-contaminated soil in Suzhou Industrial Park. The specific implementation method is: use a 50 cm deep ditch to separate the site from the surrounding environment. Level the land as much as possible, and run through it with a water tank about 20 cm deep every 2 meters in the middle. Install a water supply unit on the higher side. Plant cattails, reeds, water onions, calamus, cannas, centipede grass and other restoration plants on the polluted soil. Water is supplied to the site on a regular basis, and the outflowing water can also be pumped back to the site to form an artificial wetland system that alternates between wet and dry. After 6 months of operation of the constructed wetland system, the removal rate of 3-ring PAHs was 87%, the removal rate of 4-ring PAHs was 72%, and the removal rate of 5-ring PAHs was 56%. ...

[0027] Example 2 Remediation of PAH-contaminated soil on an abandoned chemical site in Suzhou High-tech Zone

[0028] This technology was applied to the remediation of PAH-contaminated soil on an abandoned chemical site in Suzhou High-tech Zone. The specific implementation method is: select a piece of soil seriously polluted by polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and separate it from the surrounding environment with water ditches. Level the land as much as possible, and run through it with a water tank about 20 cm deep every 2 meters in the middle. Plant cattails, reeds, water onions, calamus, cannas, centipede grass and other restoration plants on the polluted soil. Install a water supply unit on the higher side. Water is supplied to the site on a regular basis, and the outflowing water can also be pumped back to the site to form an artificial wetland system that alternates between wet and dry. After 4 months of operation of the constructed wetland system, the total remo...

[0029] Example 3 Remediation of PAH-contaminated soil near a gas station in Wuxi

[0030] This technology was applied to the remediation of PAH-contaminated soil near a gas station in Wuxi. The specific implementation method is: select a site where the soil is seriously polluted by polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and separate the site from the surrounding environment with a 50 cm deep ditch. Level the land as much as possible, and use a 20 cm deep water tank to penetrate every 2 meters in the middle. After 10 months of operation of the constructed wetland system, the removal rate of 3-ring PAHs was 91%, the removal rate ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for restoring polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) contaminated soil by utilizing an artificial wetland. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: (1) separating a restoration region of the PAHs contaminated soil from the surrounding environment by a ditch, and arranging a gutter communicated with the ditch on the PAHs contaminated soil; (2) leveling the surface of the PAHs contaminated soil, planting restoration plants on the surface of the soil, and installing a water supply device in a higher position; supplying water to the restoration plants regularly by the water supply device to maintain the growth of the restoration plants, and recycling water flow to the water supply device from the ditch or gutter; and (3) after the restoration plants ripen, the aboveground parts of the plants are harvested and transferred, and deciding whether to continue the restoration according to the restoration situation of the contaminated soil. The method is safe, efficient, and has no secondary pollution, the environment can be beautified, and the greenhouse effect can be alleviated. The method has the advantages of low treatment cost, energy consumption saving, good effect and the like.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of environmental remediation, and in particular relates to a method for remediating soil polluted by polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons by utilizing artificial wetlands. Background technique [0002] Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are volatile hydrocarbons produced when coal, oil, wood and other organic matter are incompletely burned, and are important environmental and food pollutants. PAHs are generally a class of organic pollutants formed by the fusion of two or more benzene rings, and widely exist in the soil environment. Due to their own characteristics of hydrophobicity and low water solubility, some high-molecular-weight polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons have been proved to have the "three effects" of carcinogenicity, teratogenicity, and mutagenesis, and their fat solubility increases with the number of benzene rings. Strong, the lower the water solubility, the longer the time it exists in the ...
