Abstract

Provided are lubricating grease for a metallurgy roll bearing and a preparing method thereof. The lubricating grease is composed of the following components by weight: 70-90 parts of poly (1-butene), 0.1-1 part of polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether, 0.1-1 part of thiadiazole, 0.1-1 part of naphthenic acid lithium, 10-17 parts of polytetrafluoroethylene, 0.1-1 part of diphenylamine, 0.1-1 part of zinc silicate and 0.1-1 part of poly-2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate. Bearing capacity and sintering load of the lubricating grease are respectively improved by more than 80% and 40%, direct contact among all parts of the bearing is reduced, and abrasion is avoided. Simultaneously, the zinc silicate of a layer structure forms an abrasion resistant layer with extra-high strength and nearly as smooth as mirrorsurfaces on load-bearing portions such as a bearing groove and a retainer contacted with a rolling body. The lubricating grease prolongs service life of the metallurgy roll bearing by more than 50% and has wide application prospect in the field of metallurgy roll bearings.
