Problems solved by technology

The traditional gas discharge light source is limited by the luminous mechanism and its own structure, and usually has the following weaknesses: 1. It requires a high-voltage drive power supply, which makes the structure of the system complex, and the cost of production and use is high; 2. The service life of the bulb is very limited. The frequency of replacement is frequent; 3. The light source system is large in size, and it is difficult to apply it to compact or portable instruments

Abstract

The invention discloses a compact multi-spectral LED (Light-Emitting Diode) all-solid-state light source system comprising an LED power supply and a control circuit module; the LED power supply and the control circuit module are connected with a plurality of LEDs with different emission wavelengths; photons of each LED are respectively coupled into branch optical fibers of multi-split optical fibers via an input-end optical fiber head or an optical coupling device; and gathered photons of the LEDs are coupled on a sample via an output-end optical fiber head or an optical coupling device by an output master optical fiber of the multi-split optical fibers. In the invention, light beams are transmitted via multi-split branch optical fibers so that multi-spectral illumination at a same outgoing port is implemented and structures such as filter wheels, transmission motors and the like which are expensive in price and complex in structure are avoided. Through the use of the LED light source, the energy consumption and the cost are reduced. As the light beams transmitted via the optical fibers can be bent and the lengths of the light beams can be designed as required, the light source disclosed by the invention can be flexibly applied to various instrument systems.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an optical system and belongs to the field of multi-spectral light sources, in particular to a multi-spectral compact LED all-solid-state light source system. Background technique [0002] As one of the core modules of the optical system, the light source has always been valued by major research institutions and instrument manufacturers. At present, the commonly used lighting sources can be roughly divided into several categories such as incandescent lamps, gas discharge light sources, and solid-state lighting sources. In previous instruments, the first two types of light sources, especially gas discharge light sources, are commonly used; for example, fluorescence spectrometers often use ultraviolet light or blue and green light emitted by high-pressure mercury lamps or xenon lamps as excitation light sources. The traditional gas discharge light source is limited by the luminous mechanism and its own structure, and usually has...
