The traditional Chinese medicine holds that the pediatric membranous nephropathy belongs to the 'edema' range and relates to the lung, spleen and kidney three-viscera malfunction. Most of the pediatric membranous nephropathy is mainly characterized by insufficiency of both the spleen and the kidney, blood stasis obstructing the collaterals and internal stagnation of fluid-dampness. The operations of treating the root and strengthening the body resistance serve as the principal, and the operations of warming kidney and eliminating damp are assisted on the basis of invigorating spleen, supplementing qi and invigorating the circulation of blood.
