Abstract

The phase detector comprises a sampling module and a comparison module which are connected with each other, wherein the sampling module comprises multiple sampling branches which are formed by CML latches and used for sampling the input data signals, and the comparison module is used for comparing the sampling data of the multiple sampling branches to obtain a phase comparison result. Firstly, the adopted latches are all based on CML, differential signals are processed, the anti-interference capability under high frequency is improved; and secondly, the tail current sources of the latches are divided, and the power consumption of a circuit in the latch state can be saved effectively, so that the power consumption of a whole phase detecting circuit is reduced effectively. Based on the two points, the phase detector has the advantages that the power consumption is lowered on the premise of ensuring that the phase error meets the system vibrating requirement.
