Abstract

According to the present invention there is provided a method of handling a component of a medicament dispenser device, said component having one or more surfaces which come into contact with said medicament during storage or use of said device, said method comprising the steps of: providing the component; and coating at least one of the surfaces by plasma deposition to thereby inhibit surface deposition or degradation of the agent, wherein at least a portion of the plasma deposition is performed under DC bias control.
