Abstract

The invention relates to a traditional Chinese medicine screening method and particularly relates to a method for screening an anti-aging traditional Chinese medicine by virtue of telomere length. The method comprises the following steps of: accelerating the aging of a diploid fibroblast cell of a human embryo lung under the action of teri-butyl hydroperoxide so as to manufacture an aging cell model; after the model is manufactured, treating the cell by use of various selected traditional Chinese medicine condensed compounds; and after the treatment is finished, extracting the genome DNA (Deoxyribonucleic Acid) of the cell, detecting the telomere length, and judging whether the traditional Chinese medicine is a febrile medicament, namely having anti-aging activity according to the result.
