Abstract

The invention provides a lubricating oil composition used for plastic processing, by which a good processing property can be obtained even under strict processing conditions during the plastic processing of aluminum and aluminum alloy square products. An oiling agent can be easily removed after the plastic processing, and the lubricating oil composition has an excellent stability. The lubricating oil composition comprises at least one kind of basic oil selected from mineral oil and synthetic oil; and, by total quantity of the composition, 5-30 mass% of aliphatic monohydric alcohol having a carbon atom number ranging from 8 to 24 and 1-30 mass% of polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether having an HLB value ranging from 9 to 14, as shown by a following formula (1). The lubricating oil composition can be used in the plastic processing of aluminum and aluminum alloys without being diluted by water.
