Abstract

The excavator comprises a controller 1 and a data input module 2. The method comprises the steps that the data input module 2 is connected with the controller 1 by a CAN (controller area network) bus; set data of the flow is inputted by the data input module 2, and transmitted to the controller 1 by the data input module 2 via the CAN bus; and the controller 1 controls the flow according to the transmitted set data. The excavator comprises the controller 1 and an actuating mechanism which are connected. With the adoption of the technical scheme that the traditional RS232 (recommended standard 232) serial port data transmission is changed to the current universal CAN bus data transmission, the method is high in technology adaptability and simple to operate, and can meet various requirements of market clients.
