Abstract

The invention discloses a linear compressor which comprises an exhaust mechanism and a compressor assembly. The exhausting mechanism comprises an exhaust valve disc, an exhaust valve plate, a pre-tightening spring and an exhaust cavity cover; the exhaust valve plate is arranged at the end part of a cylinder; both an exhaust hole and the exhaust valve disc are arranged on the exhaust valve plate; the exhaust cavity cover is fastened on the wall surface of the outer end of the cylinder to form a closed cavity which is used as an exhaust cavity of the compressor; the pre-tightening spring is arranged in the exhaust cavity. The linear compressor successfully solves the problem of a harsh result that when the linear compressor operates abnormally, a piston or the exhaust valve plate is damaged or both the piston or the exhaust valve plate are damaged due to cylinder collision. When the compressor operates normally, a pre-tightening force provided by the pre-tightening spring of the exhaust mechanism are sufficient to counteract a pressure applied to the exhaust valve plate by gas compression. The exhaust mechanism can effectively ensure operation stability of the compressor, guarantees service life of the compressor, is beneficial to regulation of a control system and ensures implementation of accurate control. The spring is additionally arranged, and thus, the size of the exhaust cavity is increased and exhaust noise can be reduced.
