Problems solved by technology

[0003] The existing modification of POM is mainly an improvement of its toughness, but with the wide use of polyoxymethylene products, there are more and more requirements for its performance in outdoor use, such as weather resistance and UV resistance etc. Due to the particularity of POM’s molecular structure, its weather resistance is poor. When it is used outdoors for a long time, it is not resistant to sunlight and ultraviolet radiation, and it is easy to age and degrade, causing the chain of POM to break, thereby reducing the mechanical strength of the material. While bringing certain safety hazards, it reduces the service life of polyoxymethylene materials outdoors. These deficiencies greatly limit the application of POM in various fields

Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of materials, and discloses an ultraviolet-resistant POM (polyoxymethylene) material and a preparation method thereof. The ultraviolet-resistant POM material mainly contains the following components in parts by weight: 60 to 80 parts of POM, 2 to 5 parts of weather resisting agent, 2 to 5 parts of ultraviolet resisting agent, 1 to 3 parts of light stabilizer and 0.2 to 1 part of antioxidant 1010. The method comprises the following steps: fully mixing the raw materials; and performing melting extrusion and granulation on the raw materials in a double-screw extruder, thereby obtaining the ultraviolet-resistant POM material. The prepared ultraviolet-resistant POM material is good in weather resistance and ultraviolet resistance; the good mechanical strength of the POM is maintained.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of materials, and in particular relates to an anti-ultraviolet POM material and a preparation method thereof. Background technique [0002] As a synthetic polymer material, polyoxymethylene (POM) has high mechanical strength, good wear resistance, self-lubrication and toughness, and is widely used in automobiles, electronics and other industries.
