Provided is a method for measuring birefringence dispersion values of polarization-maintaining fibers on basis of white light frequency domain interference and cubic phase function. The method is suitable for high-precision measurement of the birefringence dispersion values of the polarization-maintaining fibers within the scope of a full spectrum. The method is based on a Michelson white light frequency domain interference measuring system, frequency domain interference signals are collected through a spectrograph, a data processing method based on the cubic phase function is adopted, group delay dispersion values are extracted from a ridge line of the cubic phase function, and the birefringence dispersion values are further calculated. According to the method, measurement precision of the birefringence dispersion values of the polarization-maintaining fibers can be improved, a phase extraction process and differential operations are avoided in the data processing method, parameter selection is not needed, and influences of disturbance of experimental environment on measuring results are reduced.
