The detection method comprises the following steps: taking 10g of sample from a representative part on leather, cutting the sample into pieces and uniformly mixing, and weighing 1.00g of sample fragments in a 50mL screw covered test tube for later use; adding 10ml of an anthracene internal standard solution which is prepared from acetone and is 2mg / L in concentration to the test tube, tightening up cover and extracting in a water bath through ultrasonic wave; taking out the test tube and cooling to room temperature, filtering an extracting solution through a filtering membrane and adding to a 2mL gas chromatograph bottle, detecting through a gas chromatographic instrument and calculating a result. The detection method disclosed by the invention is not only more reliable in result because the sample is representative, more accurate in quantification by adding the internal standard solution and better in extraction effect by heating to 60 DEG C and extracting through ultrasonic wave, and excellent in extracting N,N-dimethyl formamide in the sample, but also simple in pretreatment process.
