Abstract

The invention relates to a method for propagating pholidota cantonensis, and particularly relates to a method for immediately propagating pholidota cantonensis by using pholidota cantonensis rhizomes as explants, belonging to the technical field of plant tissue culture. The method for immediately propagating the pholidota cantonensis by using pholidota cantonensis rhizomes as the explants comprises the following steps sequentially: (1) a preparing stage of the explants, namely collecting the pholidota cantonensis in a period from November every year to April in next year, removing pseudobulbs, cutting terminal buds or axillary buds with the rhizomes on the rhizomes off, and removing old scales and roots covering the rhizomes for later use; (2) an asepsis stage; (3) a primary culture stage; (4) a subculture strong seedling culturing stage; and (5) a rooting culturing stage.
