Problems solved by technology

[0004] Although woody plants are rich in resources, there are two important difficulties in developing woody plants into animal feed. Many woody plants contain anti-nutritional factors and toxins. It has been confirmed that 17 species of Quercus can cause livestock poisoning
For Moringa, it is only disclosed in the prior art that the crude protein level in Moringa is 23.0% to 43.5%, the crude fiber level is 5.9%, and the nutrition meets the standard of high-quality protein feed, but whether Moringa can really be used as Feed has not yet been studied, and how to match the nutritional characteristics of Moringa with other types of feed materials to prepare feed that is comprehensive in nutrition and significantly promotes animal growth needs further research and exploration

Embodiment 2

[0037] In the feed of dairy cows (black and white flowers), Moringa leaf powder 30~100% replaced alfalfa, and the milk yield did not change significantly. The preparation method of Moringa leaf powder refers to Example 1.

Embodiment 3

[0039] In the feed of beef cattle (Simmental), Moringa leaf powder 30~100% replaced alfalfa, and its growth energy did not change significantly. The preparation method of Moringa leaf powder refers to Example 1.

Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of livestock breeding and particularly discloses application of moringa oleifera in a feed and an animal feed containing moringa oleifera. The moringa oleifera contains about 26% of crude protein which is higher than the crude protein of alfalfa. Research finds that the production performance and the slaughter performance of animals can be promoted after a certain proportion of moringa oleifera leaf powder or silage or microbiological fermented feed prepared from moringa oleifera branches and leaves is added to the feed to replace the alfalfa powder. As a result, the moringa oleifera can be taken as a new feed resource to take the place of the alfalfa, and therefore, the shortage of vegetable protein pasture in China can be relieved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of animal husbandry, in particular to the application of moringa in feed and an animal feed containing moringa. Background technique [0002] Lack of feed is the main limiting factor for the development of animal husbandry in my country. my country's per capita arable land is small, and it is difficult for the planting industry to provide enough feed grain. Although the grassland area is large, due to geographical and climatic conditions, the suitable time for grazing is short, and the average stocking rate is low. For a long time, blind land reclamation and overloading and overgrazing have resulted in the continuous destruction of grassland resources, and the contradiction between grassland and livestock is very acute. my country currently needs to import a large amount of feed grain and pasture land. The import of alfalfa alone reached 750,000 tons in 2013, which is basically equivalent to the annual output of alfa...
