The experiment instrument comprises a water storage tank, a high-lift pump, a water supply pipe, a manually-operated or electrically-operated valve provided with an orifice, a pressure stabilizing tank, an experiment pipeline, a flow adjusting valve, a hopper, a water return pipe, a measuring meter and the like. The on-way resistance experiment instrument must have double functions of a laminar flow experiment and a turbulent flow experiment. When all valves are closed, pressurized water, introduced from the pump, in front of the valves flows to the experiment pipeline through the orifice, the orifice can well eliminate pressure fluctuation of water, caused by the pump, in front of the valves, and a good wave absorbing and pressure stabilizing function is realized; through secondary pressure stabilizing by the aid of the pressure stabilizing tank, and the pressure stabilizing accuracy is within plus or minus 0.5 mm, so that the stable-pressure water supply demand of the laminar flow experiment can be met under the condition of direct supply by the water pump; the stability problem of the laminar flow experiment under the condition of direct supply by the pump is solved; meanwhile, at the turbulent flow stage, the pressure stabilizing tank is used for pressure stabilizing, and a good turbulent flow pressure stabilizing effect is achieved.
