Abstract

The invention discloses a compound tackifier for polyester type composite and preparation and application of the compound tackifier. The compound tackifier consists of 3-trimethoxysilyl-propyl-methacrylate, silicane byproduct and secondary product prepared from silicane byproducts. The product can effectively improve the mechanical strength of polyester type composite; when the compound tackifier is used for producing polyester type artificial stone, 92 parts by weight of 400-mesh quartz powder, 8 parts by weight of unsaturated polyester resin and 0.46 part by weight of a compound tackifier are used to be cured at 100 DEG C for 1 hour, and as compared with the product prepared from 3-trimethoxysilyl-propyl-methacrylate by using similar formula and same proportion, the bending strength of the formed artificial stone is improved by 5.5% to be 44.71 MPa, and the elastic modulus is increased by 2.5% to be 29.23 GPa; the compound tackifier has the advantages of being nontoxic, safe, environment-friendly and low in cost.
