Abstract

The invention discloses an underwater adhesive for live coral transplantation. The adhesive comprises a component A and a component B, wherein the mass ratio of the component A to the component B is (1.57-2.8):1; the component A comprises the following components in parts by mass: 43-65 parts of hydrophobic epoxy resin, 0.8-1.5 parts of a coupling agent, 2-3.5 parts of a flexibilizer, 0.2-0.4 part of a diluent and 3-8 parts of water absorbing filler; the component B comprises the following components in parts by mass: 25-50 parts of a hydrophobic curing agent and 1-2.5 parts of an accelerant. The adhesive has the advantages of being nontoxic, short in curing time, high in bonding strength and convenient to operate, the effect of toxic components on live corals can be avoided, the secondary harm to a transplanted coral single body can be avoided, and the survival rate of coral transplantation is greatly increased. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the underwater adhesive for live coral transplantation.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of adhesives, and in particular relates to an underwater adhesive used for living coral transplantation. Background technique [0002] Coral reefs have high biodiversity and primary productivity, and play an important role in marine ecosystems. They provide many marine organisms with places to spawn, reproduce, inhabit and hide from the sea, thereby increasing marine fishery production. People can use coral reefs to harvest food, develop medicines, raw materials, and travel and watch, directly benefiting humans, etc. However, in recent years, due to human activities and global climate change, there have been serious threats to the survival of corals, which has led to the threat of degradation of the coral reef ecosystem. The serious decline of fishery resources and the reduction of biodiversity in reef areas make it urgent to restore coral reef habitats. [0003] Coral transplantation is a major aspect of c...
